Other Filipina who’s getting married in the Philippines

For getting married in the Philippines, you need some important documents (listed below) in order to demand a Marriage License. The license  can be requested at the local Philippine authority; after the issuance (normally within 10 days) it can be married theoretically.

Required documents for getting married in the Philippines:

For German partner needs only three documents:

Birth Certificate (translated and authenticated by the Philippine embassy abroad), passport, and the “Consular Certificate of Legal Capacity to Contract Marriage”.

In the individual case it must be clarified whether an attestation of translated birth certificate by the Philippine Embassy in Germany is necessary.

The third document has a special feature:

First, you have to apply for a certificate of no impediment (often connected with a certificate control)

The German Embassy in Manila has to rewrite the certificate of no impediment in a “Certificate of Legal Capacity Consular to Contract Marriage”.

Visa: apply for family reunification Visa at the German Embassy, Manila. The application is the same as in the case of a marriage in Hong Kong.

But: If the registry office has not made any certificate examination, this usually occurs when applying for the family reunification visa.
